This is me in action showing you how to use a stretchy wrap. Its quite long because I like to talk through each step, but I hope my explanations are helpful.
The one thing I didn’t go into (at least not in detail) is safety. The major hazards when you use any sling are breathing and falling. So you need to make sure that your sling will protect your baby’s ability to breathe – by not covering their face or allowing their airway to be compromised (for example through “positional asphyxia” – where a baby’s chin slumps onto their chest reducing their airway). You also need to know that there is no risk of your baby falling, this means making sure your sling is tight enough. And when your sling is not loose there is also less risk of positional asphyxia.
