My name is Gillian Travis. I have two kids, Charlie who is 8, and Ella who is 4. I carried both of them from birth but it took me a little while to find the right sling. You can read more about my sling journey here.
Exeter Sling Library was started in 2010 by Claire Arnold. It ran for several years under her and another volunteer, from whom I took over in 2013.
In 2015 I attended Slingababy Consultancy training, so I am now a trained instructor on sling use. For the past few years I have run the library alongside my main employment, but from May 2017 it is becoming my full time job along with my new sling retail business and consultancy.
